It's time to embrace the latest fashion trends after being cooped up for a year. Although the fashion industry has had a quiet year, this summer has brought us several incredibly bold and chic looks. Fashion this year is an amalgamation of iconic fashion styles, featuring fashion styles from numerous influential decades, and I am enjoying every single one of them. It's time to take a look at the hottest fashion trends for summer 2021.
Head Scarfs
Drawing inspiration from the fashion legends of the early 50s, this style has made a major comeback, and in my opinion it looks super chic and fashionable. Wrap a patterned scarf in half around your head and add a pair of sunglasses to turn yourself into a Hollywood runway model. These headscarves are incredibly easy to style and versatile and can dress up any ensemble.

This season is all about looking effortlessly chic, which provides the ideal opportunity for fashionistas to obsess over pastel ensembles. To bring more depth to a monochromatic outfit, mix it up and match assorted colours. The most fashionable amalgamation of pastels and one of my favourites has to be the combination of lemon trousers paired with a lavender shirt. Pastels have been dominating the fashion industry this year, these bright pastels are the perfect summer choice this season.
Oversized Jeans, Trousers, Jackets, Blazers and What Not?
Say goodbye to your skinny jeans as wide legged jeans have made a major come-back and are ruling. Fashion this season is majorly inspired by early 50s and 2000s, and of course high waist wide jeans are dominating the fashion world right now. Style them with a cropped top or even an oversized shirt, this fashion piece has the glamour world all shaken up, style it up and it will for sure become your go to outfit. Not only jeans but oversized jackets, blazers and trousers are rocking it in the fashion world.
Puff-sleeved Pieces
Drop earrings or polka-dotted fashion ensembles were considered bold choices in 2019 and 2020 but as we channel the 50s fashion and revise its glamour, influencers and fashion icons have grown to adore puff-sleeves. A puff-sleeved outfit creates a bold statement on its own, nothing is too extreme in the 2021 fashion world.
